Tasmania is still on Fire

This is a photo looking east from the vineyard.  Most of the fires are in the west and north west and there has been a lot of damage to property and also to the World Heritage Area, which has been difficult to access due to the lack of suitable roadways.  In addition, some elements are against the use of chemical retardants in the WHA, why I don’t know, so aerial assistance has also been limited.

Vineyards have been subject t smoke haze and, at this stage (verasion), it is a hazard, but a small one considering the losses to other farmers.
