2006 Bream Creek Cabernet Sauvignon
Details
This Cabernet Sauvignon is from Fred Peacock’s northern vineyard at Rowella. This year’s vintage has a higher % of Merlot hence the name change.

Tasting Notes
A well balanced wine with ripe cassis berry fruit and subtle oak aromas. The soft silky palate is mouthfilling, with a full mid palate embracing blackberry, blackcurrant and seasoned oak characters.
Gold medal and trophy winner at the 2008 Tasmanian Wine Show.

Tasting Notes
A full bodied red that we have enjoyed selling for a number of vintages. The 2006 vintage is no exception, showing depth of character with blackcurrant and ripe berrys, overlaid with fine oak and a touch of Bordeaux delicacy.

Try some Tasmanian Bennets wallaby rare with plum and ginger sauce, or a New York cut eye fillet.
