This wine is typical of our Rieslings since 2008 in that it has 8 grams of residual sugar to balance the acidity. Effectively, it is dry but some clients may pick up a taste of sweetness. The palate is more citrus in character but the nose is definitely Riesling. The clone has never been identified. Allan Antcliffe, well respected ampelographer attended the vineyard more than forty years ago and was unable to identify the clone, other than that it was definitely Riesling! Brilliant wine with white fish, abalone and Asian spicy foods, such as Laksa, Thai green curry and Indian curries.
