Providence doesn’t usually onsell wine from the large Tasmanian producers but, following its success in the 2011 Tasmanian Wine Show it was a ‘must have’.
One would get into a lot of trouble if they did it today, but naughty Claudio Alcorso sourced the cuttings from which “Muse” is produced when visiting Burgundy in 1963! Note that there is more “funk” in the label than in the bottle itself. This wine is a multi-award winning wine. On the nose there are scents of Kentish cherries and some spiciness, which carries through to the palate. Only a few bottles left of this much sought after wine and well worth further bottle ageing.
